Almost miss it....

As people always said,Chinese new Year have to go Malacca.
Very nice..Lot of CNY feels there...
And of course veri jam here as well.

Being a Malaccaan,i didn't really understand why so many people like to go Jonker Street.
Line up to eat the chicken rice ball, line up to buy souvenir..
which i think is much more expensive.
But,ever since i work in KL,every CNY is either i come back early for CNY or
maybe after the 3rd or 4th of CNY.But i will never miss to at least,
walk around the Jonker Street alone,
see the decoration...
see people busy buying souvenir,
see people busy taking pic.

This year,
if not because i want to go
Jonker Street to buy something very important,
i almost miss the Ox decoration.
Is too hot in Malacca this year.
Well, still many people on the street,
although the sun was damn hot.

Beside kiasu,Malacca is has been listed as a prominent
World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 7th July 2008.

Two Eye in Malacca

I don't know since when Malacca become a Kiasu state,
Malacca now have to 'Eye'..
Of course the Malacca eye was like a fun fair ferris wheel,
which i guess only attract kids
haha...

As i was going to Melaka Raya,
i accidentally saw Eye on Malaysia on my right hand side
and this is the 1st time i saw it since it migrant to Malacca from KL.
and it was already 11pm++
Will find a day, bring along my camera, back to Malacca..
Hope to capture a nice Eye on Malacca..

PAS banned Rihanna

As usual PAS is stopping Rihanna to performance
in Malaysia here on 13thFeb.

As usual their reason still the same, the sexy outfits.

The new reason was “akin to insulting eastern culture, belittling local artistes, intentionally causing losses to the country’s economy and supporting Israel’s war policy, which is supported by America” said by Federal Territory Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad.

Gosh....She is just an artist...

After all,“She (Rihanna) has agreed to follow the regulations,” adding that the organiser, Pineapple Concerts, had already made arrangements with the singer and the Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry was informed of her performance.

Take A Bow.. to Rihanna from Malaysia.

Police patrol your house

I don't know is this a nationwide campaign by the Police force,
but Puchong residents will be delighted ,
during this coming New Year as the Police will petrol to their home
when they are not around.

What you have to do is only go to the nearest Police station,
submit a form to the Police to noticed them you are not around,
then Police will arrange for their mobile patrols to visit your
home during the period that you are away from home.
Beside that,The Police Patrol Team will leave a “Borang Lawatan”
into your letterbox each time they visit your house.

So,why wait?
Have a great holiday, fill up form to the police now.

Don't Feed them

WARNING : DON'T OFFER DUIT KOPI FROM NOW ON!

If you have ever paid or are thinking of paying ' Coffee Money' when stopped for traffic or other offences, DON'T EVER Do This Again.
The traffic department (JPJ) has recently started a campaign to be rid of corruption. Every Officer on duty will be rewarded with RM100.00 if they report each case of bribery to the department.

This is how they do (trick you into) it. They will note down the details of your IC/MyKad, and ask you how you want to settle ( 'Macam mana nak > > selesai?')
If you indicate yes or even offer to give them any money, they will report the incident by rejecting your 'Kopi Money' and get the RM100.00 instead as an incentive for their integrity and 'Honest' pubicity.
This means that You will end up having a summon issued to you and perhaps a charge for bribery.

SO DON'T PAY DUIT KOPI AGAIN, especially if you hope to go free with a lesser amount of money compared to the fine. Even if you want to pay over RM200, the JPJ Officers would rather have a 'good' name than to take your kopi money.

Just beware of their trick because the cops are now accumulating 'cookies' points for their promotion and pay increment - with your help if possible.

They should have done this to stop corruption long time ago...
but anyway it's better late than never, right?

Think before attack....

Dr Yap Sin Tian ,Dong Zong (the United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia) president was giving a speech when a young guy going up calmly to the stage
and give him a punch last Sunday during New Era College convocation.
He failed to avoid because he thought the young man was trying to adjust the mike
for him as he is wearing shirt used by members of a fund-raising event in the college.

Today, although Dr Yap was not fully recovered,
but he was allowed to go home.
He is discharged.

And the same day,
Police managed to caught the young man in his home.
He is "in-charge"

Wonder why some people have to act roughly,
wonder why he wanna attack in front
of so many people.
Doesn't he know
"Sepandai-pandai tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh ke bumi juga".

Opps...He didn't learn this at school??
Thanks dad for letting me study at IJC.
Hahahaa....

Sad to say,IT IS A SHAME OF CHINESE EDUCATION!
