BODYGUARD....

The defination of bodyguard....

A bodyguard (or "close protection officer") is a type of security guard or government agent who protects a person—usually a famous, wealthy, or politically important figure—from assault, kidnapping, assassination, loss of confidential information, or other threats.
Most important public figures such as heads of state or governors are protected by several bodyguards or by a team of bodyguards from an agency, security forces, or police forces (e.g., in the US, the United States Secret Service or the Bureau of Diplomatic Security). Less-important public figures, or those with lower risk profiles, are often accompanied by a single bodyguard who may double as a driver. A small number of high-profile celebrities also use bodyguards to protect themselves from aggressive fans or violent stalkers.

Maybe those bodyguard of Stephen Chow think we might assault, kidnapping or assassination

Singapore Flyer....or....

I took this pic when i visited Singapore recently,i was standing at the Merlion Park while taking this pic.i don't exactly know where it located...
Using my Nikon compact camera,i only manage to get this pic.
The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel in Singapore. Reaching 42 stories high, it comprises a 150-metre (in diameter) high wheel built over a three-story terminal building, giving it a total height of 165 metres. This will exceed The Star of Nanchang (currently the tallest) by 5 metres and the London Eye (currently the largest) by 30 metres. It will feature 28 air-conditioned capsules capable of holding 28 passengers each. A complete rotation of the wheel will take an estimated 30 minutes. As at 2 October 2007, the last capsule of the Singapore Flyer had been installed.
Located on the southeast tip of the Marina Centre reclaimed land, it is expected to offer excellent views of the city centre and beyond to about 45 kilometres, including the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, as well as Johor, Malaysia.

The Goat.....

The Chinese Zodiac Astrology is ancient, interesting, accurate and loved by millions across the world. The Chinese Zodiac is based on cyclic concept of time : a cycle of 12 years, repeated again and again. The 12 Years are associated with 12 Celestial Animals : Rat (or Mouse on Mongoose), Ox (or Buffalo or Bull or Cow), Tiger, Rabbit (or Hare or Cat), Dragon, Snake (or Serpent), Horse, Goat (or Sheep or Ram), Monkey, Rooster (or Hen or Cock or Chicken or Phoenix), Dog and Pig (or Boar or Hog). The animal names occasionally differ with the Oriental Country they originate. The Chinese Yearly Horoscopes are basically built around these 12 Animal Signs.
Your Chinese Astrological Zodiac Animal Sign is directly based on the Chinese Lunar Year of Birth that you were born. The Chinese New Year is mobile and could start anywhere between 21st January and 20th February, depending upon the year. If your Date of Birth falls into any of the following Chinese Lunar Years, then, because you are born in the Year of the Goat (or Sheep or Ram), you are symbolically identified by your Celestial Animal, the "Goat (or Sheep or Ram)" :
From 13 Feb 1907 to 01 Feb 1908
From 01 Feb 1919 to 19 Feb 1920
From 17 Feb 1931 to 05 Feb 1932
From 05 Feb 1943 to 24 Jan 1944

Teh Tarik

Teh tarik ("pulled tea") is a type of tea which can be bought in restaurants and outdoor stalls in Malaysia.
The main ingredients are tea and condensed milk.It has become the de facto national drink of Malaysia. In Malaysia, there are also occasions where "teh tarik" brewers gather for competitions and performances to show their skills in making this drink.

This tea is special in that it is prepared using a unique technique. The tea is poured from a hand held high into a container held in a hand below. The tea is poured back and forth in this manner to create a thick froth. It is believed that this method mixes the tea with the condensed milk more thoroughly than other methods. It is also believed that this action cools down the tea to an optimum temperature for consumption.

p/s:is actually one of my favourite drink...

Why Stop If Is Not Emergency????

Last Fri,Road Safety Department director-general Datuk Suret Singh
said the emergency lanes were meant for the use of authorities such as the fire and rescue department, police and ambulance, which provide services during emergencies.

"What must be understood is that the emergency lane is a traffic lane and it is for the relevant agencies to use. This is what the emergency lane is for. It is extremely dangerous when vehicles are parked at emergency lanes,"

I wonder, why should anyone bother the stop their car at emergency lane if their
car did not brake down???Hahaha....

Everyone stop their car at emergency lane is also because the were in a "emergency..."

Winter Solstice Festival

Literally meaning the "arrival of winter”, Dong Zhi is the second most
important festival of the Chinese calendar, and is considered the thanksgiving
of the Chinese calendar. Dong Zhi is the last festival of the year. Coinciding
with the winter solstice, it is a time for the entire family to get together to
celebrate the past good year. Glutinous rice balls known as Tang Yuan
are cooked and eaten to signify unity and harmony within the family.

Dong Zhi is the celebration of the good year one and his family has enjoyed.
In ancient China, many poor people were not able to protect themselves from
the blistering cold winter, and they would often resort to eating bowls of
warming tang yuan (sweet soup of glutinuous rice flour balls) together in order
to keep warm.

The Chinese word tang (meaning 'soup') sounds like tuan which means reunion, while yuan means round, signifying "yuan man" (complete ). The entire phrase tang yuan therefore symbolises "tuan yuan" (family reunion), and eating tang yuan on Dong Zhi represents family reunion and harmony, and also signifies family unity and family prosperity.
For good luck, some families prefer to have some pink tang yuan to mix with the white ones.

Now only i know why my mum will coloured some tang yuan to pink .hahaa...

Toilet Cleanliness

The state of Malaysia's public toilets has become a hot-button issue, with tourists saying they were often dirty and lacked basic items such as soap and paper. "They can be very messy because people don't seem to know how to use the toilets."

Malaysian public lack civic consciousness when using public toilets. They just dont bother and hope someone will take care the mess that they left behind. What a shame!!!!
Things like this not only happen in a public toilet....
